Glink for Android version 2.5.1 is now available!

In this release we have made it possible to have a vertical toolbar on the right side of the display, we have updated to the latest version of the Renci SSH.NET encryption protocols and the Send and Receive notification sounds are configurable. New option in the 5250 and 3270 emulations to display top/left part of new screens. There are also a few minor corrections and improvements.

The upgrade is free for customers who purchased earlier versions of the Glink for Android products with support.

What is new in version 2.5.1

  • Vertical toolbar targeting devices operating in landscape mode

  • New version of Renci SSH.NET with updated encryption protocols

  • Configurable Send and Receive notification sounds

  • 5250 / 3270: Option to display top/left part of new screens

  • Fixed problem with missing program texts

  • Minor corrections and improvements

The new vertical toolbar makes it possible to configure an alternative keyboard on the right side of the display. You can configure the number of visible toolbar columns to be less than the maximum number of toolbars and flip toolbar sections left/right. This way you can for example have separate sections with function keys, letters and numbers.
